Service Description

Join our pizza making course and learn to make delicious pizzas cooked in our Alfa wood fired oven, this will all take place in the comfort of our luxury showroom to keep you warm and dry. Weather permitting on the day we will also fire up the Gozney Dome on Gas to give you a true picture of what you can achieve using different fuels. On this course, you will learn how to work with a sourdough starter to make a pizza dough. You will also get a chance to use yeast for a quicker pizza dough, and play with our pre-made frozen dough flavours to give you three different options. We will look at differences between flours, how to choose the best one for your oven and needs. We will walk you through every step of the process, from mixing and kneading the dough to baking in the wood-fired oven. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have and interact with other pizza lovers in a relaxed environment. During the course we will also teach you how to make the sauce, prepare the toppings and how to bake the perfect pizza. We'll also share tips and tricks for getting that crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese.You’ll learn how to work with the oven, how to maintain the right temperature, and how to properly load and unload the pizza. During the day we will take you through....... Making dough Measuring and controlling temperatures in the oven Toppings Best cooking utensils and other essential equipment Our favourite finishing salts, oils and dips. We all know outdoor ovens are perfect for pizza but they can do so much more, pizzas are just the start! This hands-on experience will include all the ingredients, equipment, including aprons, refreshments throughout the day and recipes to take home and replicate. Includes all the ingredients, equipment, refreshments throughout and recipes for the day. You will get to try new and exciting flavours using various ingredients and flavour combinations from our showroom shop. We will break during the day for 45 minutes - 1 hour to enjoy eating your food with wine/fizz and soft drinks, you won't leave hungry. Class sizes will be small to allow for a friendly, hands-on learning environment. The maximum number of people on any one course will be limited to 6. The course will run from 10:00am - 3:00pm, welcome drink and biscuits on arrival.
